Gulf Air Desert 400 - V8 Supercars

The V8 Supercars season leaves Australia and heads to the sands of Sakhir, Bahrain for the Desert 400. One of the most exotic settings on the tour, the Bahrain International Circuit is in the middle of the desert and was initiated by the Crown Prince himself.

This race has become one of the premier sporting events in the country after its opening debut in 2006. The track itself is 5.411 km or 3.37 miles in length and has 15 turns. The main concern for the drivers is that the sand stays off the track so they can launch into their usual lightning fast speeds.
