Golf - Royal Golf Club
The Royal Golf Club at Riffa Views is situated just 20 minutes drive from the capital city of Manama in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, the 18-hole, 7102 yard, par 72 championship golf course will officially open in November 2008 and will form the centerpiece of the Riffa Views lifestyle community. The course will be complemented by a 9-hole par 3 academy course, a Royal golf academy, a luxurious club house and a country club.

The Royal Country Club
The Royal Country Club will provide an idyllic retreat for residents of the Riffa Views community as well as for Royal Golf Club members. Facilities will include ladies and gents’ gymnasiums, steam rooms and saunas, an aerobics studio, swimming pools and tennis courts. An activity area and a crèche will be available for children and a family restaurant and terrace will provide a luxurious place to relax after all your sporting activity.
Professional staff will be on hand to provide expert guidance in all of the sports on offer and there will be a comprehensive list of regular attractions and social activities for the members to enjoy.
The Clubhouse
The club house at the Royal Golf Club will host a number of food and beverage outlets as well as a shop stocking all the latest golfing and leisure clothing and equipment. A large glass-fronted function suite overlooking the golf course will offer a fantastic venue for large weddings, banquets and other social occasions while fresh, modern changing facilities and showers round off the facilities, all of which will be decorated with vibrant colours and luxurious soft furnishings.
Restaurants
The Royal club house will offer an array of dining options. Conference amenities will include two meeting rooms as well as a large function area for conferences or banquets for up to 300 guests.
Golf Shop
The golf shop at the Royal Golf Club is due to open in November 2008 along with the rest of the refurbished and extended club house. In the meantime, golfers and sports people in Bahrain are invited to pay a visit to our new retail outlet, Riffa Views Golf & Leisure, which is located in the new Country Mall on Budaiya Road.
In addition to golf clubs, accessories and clothing from the world’s top manufacturers such as Ping, Callaway and Titleist, RVGL also boasts Bahrain’s first golf simulator. Customers can now book a round of golf on any of 40 world class golf courses such as St Andrews in Scotland and Pebble Beach in the US.
Golfers considering purchasing new clubs and unsure of the club best suited to their game can benefit from using the swing check installed on the simulator or test out putters on the shop’s indoor putting mat.
Tennis players will also enjoy a visit to RVGL which stocks a wide selection of tennis racquets, accessories and clothing from a range designed by legendary tennis star Boris Becker.
